Guided is a short film exploring the quote "As Above So Below; As Within So Without” in relationship to the body borders and the outside world. Spaces within us, spaces on the exterior as well as digital spaces formulate a series of questions regarding borders, gender and language.

Marios Pavlou was born in Cyprus, 1989. He graduated from the Athens School of Fine Arts in 2015 and he is currently continuing his post graduate studies in the Kunsthochschule für Medien in Cologne.
He has been a committee member of the student run space "Circuits and Currents" in Athens and participated in group exhibitions, collaborative projects and workshops around Europe such as: “Floating University” - Raumlabor Berlin - 2018, “You Are” group performance with Tobias Yves Zintel - Daniel Burkhardt - Deutschlandfunk - part of the Kölner Kongress - Cologne 2018, “Art Cologne 2018”, "Next Level 2017" NRW Forum - Düsseldorf 2017, “Animal of the State” - SURVIVAL KIT publication launch - Lenbachhaus Museum - Munich - 2016, "Athens Digital Arts Festival ” - Athens - 2016, “How to Project and Spell” (collective film) - Kullukcu and Gregorian Gallery (Munich) - Chisenhale Gallery (London) - 2014. Marios Pavlou is mostly working with his internet based avatar called Cievil Momo, creating music projects, spatial installations, films, 3D games, poetry and performances.
